I created this website because I wanted to give a three dimensional impression of what I can offer as a colleague and of who I am as a person. I want to find a surgery where I will be a good fit and potentially settle in for many years to come,

What I am looking for
Role and Responsibilities
My priorities are finding a supportive team with an enthusiasm for learning and teaching.
With regard to sessions per week I am extremely flexible,
I have recently achieved my competencies in coils and implants and am seeking a role where I can continue to use these skills,
I have a passion for women’s/reproductive health and I plan on continuing to develop my special interest in this area. I already have my DRCOG, LoCs, and have begun my DFSRH, and I am hoping to pursue the advanced certificate in menopause care from the British Menopause Society from 2026; a practice encouraging of this would be preferable,
Teaching brings me a lot of joy and I take every opportunity to have a shadower or to provide support to more junior colleagues. I plan on becoming a GP Trainer as soon as I can. Therefore, a practice which is an approved Clinical Learning Environment (or which is open to gaining approval) would also be preferable.

Quality Improvement Work
Learning to use clinical reporting on SystmOne has made quality improvement audits/projects so easy.
I caught the bug when I saw a real improvement in our QOF points score after my statin project and now constantly look for more areas where I can make a difference.

Philippines Outreach
Since 2023 I have made annual trips to the Island of Jintotolo, Philippines,
There are no doctors or pharmacies on Jintotolo, the nearest medical attention is at least an hour away by boat and most residents could not afford their services,
I bring medicines and supplies and perform medical checks,
It is tough, and fulfilling, and my favourite part of my year
